Printed images and/or any type of collage material cut into tiny pieces
Glue - I used PVA glue
Drawing paper or any surface to glue your pieces to.
Paint (if you want to add a layer or two after your create your collage)
This is a similar exercise to the Monoprint Collage, but this time you can use any collage material that you would like. There are some wonderful images on Vintage Printables that you could use.
Find a couple images and papers that you would like to use, making sure they will have enough contrast when you glue them together. Cut your papers into small shapes, any shape that you would like. I cut mine into one inch by one inch squares. I worked on 9" x 12" Strathmore drawing paper, any paper will work.
After you have cut your pieces to size you can begin to glue them down in any pattern (or no pattern) that you would like.
If will be up to you if you would like to add a layer of paint or an image on top of your collage, as I have done. I hope you will find this to be a relaxing and enjoyable exercise.
