pocket zine.jpg

Supplies needed:

  • A larger rectangular sheet of thin paper
  • A bone folder
  • An x-acto knife
  • Ruler
  • Pens
  • Watercolor Paint

These little pocket sized books are so fun to make!  The are great for filling with designs/lines/doodles or working out ideas.  My daughter makes little zines each time she has a test, writing down all of her notes that she needs for studying.

You can make several of them at a time and put them in your bag so you have one wherever you go!  They are great if you are going on a trip, waiting to pick someone up, or just at your kitchen table, waiting for the water to boil.

I filled this one with lines, lots of lines in all directions.  Feel free to do the same or go in your own direction.
