What is more endearing than an animal dressed up as a human? Maybe a child dressed as an animal, either way I love seeing personified animals especially in art. For this exercise you will need to find a beloved animal and an idea of how you want to personify that animal. I found a beautiful picture of a tiger and merged it with the goddess Venus and a peony on top.
Sketch out your idea and start painting. I used pencil and acrylics on 11" x 14" paper for this exercise.
