If I create from the heart, nearly everything works; if from the head, almost nothing. Marc Chagall
Viewing the work of Marc Chagall is like being in a magical dream where birds are larger than humans, flowers grow everywhere, and humans can fly. His imagination must have been something wild. I love getting lost in his work. I thought it would be a great exercise to take on one of his paintings and see what it inspired. For this exercise, I use this blue painting by Chagall as my inspiration. I start off with a whimsical drawing and then paint it in using a similar color palette. Feel free to use any Chagall painting as inspiration with any color palette.
